    Kylin’s jacquard curtain fabric features designs that are woven directly into the fabric, rather than being printed, stamped, or embroidered on top. This is made possible by the use of a jacquard loom. The loom allows for precise control over each warp yarn, making it possible to create fabrics with a variety of designs, ranging from simple patterns to more complex ones. Brocade and damask are examples of jacquard-woven fabrics.

    Our IFR jacquard curtain fabric comes in two dyeing styles. The first is piece-dyeing, where the fabric is dyed a single color throughout. The second is yarn-dyeing, where multiple colored yarns are woven together to produce a multi-colored fabric.

    The fabric’s construction, with its warp and weft interlacing, creates patterns with varying textures, offering a sense of depth and a three-dimensional effect. The fabric has a smooth, soft texture and good drape, with a breathable quality that makes it suitable for various applications.

    • Are you a factory or a trading company?
      We are a direct factory with our own weaving facility. Our production base is located in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province.
    • What quality certifications or test reports do you have?
      We hold flame retardancy certifications including US standards NFPA 701, UL 94, and CPAI-84; European standard EN 1021; French standard M1; and Chinese standard B1. We also have functional test reports for antibacterial, anti-mold, waterproof, insect-repellent, and UV-resistant properties.
    • Can you provide samples? How are the costs calculated?
      Standard A4 samples are free of charge; shipping costs are borne by the customer. Custom samples require a paid sampling fee.
    • What is the Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)?
      MOQ varies by product line. For standard products, the MOQ is 1,000 meters. For custom products, the MOQ is generally 3,000–5,000 meters. Orders below the MOQ are subject to additional dyeing surcharges or setup fees.
    • How many days does it take from order placement to shipment?
      Approximately 15 days for stock products and 35–40 days for custom products. Lead times may be extended by 5–10 days during peak season.
    • What payment methods are accepted?
      T/T, L/C, and PayPal. A 30% deposit is required upfront.
    • What trade terms do you support?
      FOB, CIF, and EXW. Shipments are primarily handled through the Port of Shanghai.
    • How do you handle damaged goods or quality complaints?
      Once an issue is confirmed, we will arrange a replacement shipment. The turnaround time is 10–15 days.
    • Can colors be customized? What is the minimum quantity?
      Yes — we accept both color matching from customer-provided samples and custom Pantone/color code references. Standard sampling lead time is 5–10 days.
    • Can you add logo printing or patterns?
      Yes, we support various printing techniques. The MOQ generally remains unchanged.
    • How does OEM/ODM service work?
      We support both customer-supplied designs and in-house design development. Transfer printing development costs 1,800 RMB per color set; digital printing development is free of charge.

    Piece-Dyed or Yarn-Dyed: Choosing by Cost, Lead Time and Project Size

    Our IFR jacquard curtain fabric comes in piece-dyed and yarn-dyed versions, and the choice affects more than looks. In piece-dyeing, the fabric is woven first and dyed afterward in a single color, which keeps color consistent within one batch and generally moves faster through production. In yarn-dyeing, the yarns are dyed before weaving so several colors can appear in one design, which is what gives a multi-colored jacquard its depth, but it adds a dyeing step ahead of weaving and typically extends the timeline.

    For a fast-moving single-color order, piece-dyeing is usually the simpler route. For a distinctive multi-colored pattern, yarn-dyeing is the one that can deliver it, provided the schedule allows for it. Because yarn is dyed in separate lots, color can vary slightly between lots, so it matters more here than with piece-dyeing to order all the fabric for one project at once and to approve a lab dip before bulk production starts.

    Choosing Pattern Scale for Room Size and Viewing Distance

    A jacquard pattern that looks refined on a sample card can read completely differently once it is hanging across a large window. Pattern scale should follow how far away people will usually stand from the curtain and how much wall or window it will cover. In a small guest room or a meeting room, where people sit close to the curtain, a fine, tightly repeated motif keeps the surface calm and lets the fabric's texture and drape carry the visual interest. In a large lobby, ballroom or a floor-to-ceiling window, a fine pattern can disappear into a flat texture from across the room, so a larger, bolder motif holds its presence at distance.

    Weave density plays alongside pattern scale. A denser weave gives crisper pattern edges and a more defined motif, which matters more for a bold design meant to be read from a distance, while a lighter, more open weave suits smaller motifs and softer, closer viewing. Before finalizing a pattern, look at a sample the actual size of one repeat, held at the distance from which the curtain will normally be seen, not just close up on a table.
