Classification of flame retardant performance inspection

The probability of fire in public places is high, so flame retardant measures are essential. However, due to regional and cultural differences, the varieties and specifications of flame retardant products in different places are also diverse. In view of this, after many expert discussions, it was determined to test the flame retardant performance of flame retardant products according to the following classification.　

1. Flame-retardant building products: building materials of the same material and the same structure, if thicker and thinner materials can meet a certain level of requirements at the same time, materials with a thickness in between can also be considered to meet the requirements of this level. (Flame retardant flooring materials: the same kind of materials, if thicker and thinner flame retardant flooring materials can meet a certain level of requirements at the same time, it can be considered that the thickness of the flame retardant flooring materials also meets the requirements of this level.)

2. Flame-retardant fabrics: the same material, if the flame retardant fabrics with larger areal density and smaller can meet a certain level of requirements at the same time, it can be considered that the flame retardant fabric products with the areal density in between also meet the requirements of this level.

3. Flame-retardant plastics/rubbers: The same material, if thicker and thinner flame-retardant plastic products can meet a certain level of requirements at the same time, flame-retardant plastic/rubber products with a thickness in between can also be considered to meet the requirements of this level. (Note: When making samples, electrical enclosures, etc., can be sampled at non-abnormal parts with the same thickness; switches and sockets should be as flat as possible. If the size does not meet the specifications, they can be spliced ??in an appropriate way.) 　　

4. Flame-retardant foamed plastics: Under the same density, if thicker and thinner foamed plastic products can meet a certain level of requirements at the same time, it can be considered that the foamed plastic products with the middle thickness also meet the requirements of this level.

5. Flame-retardant furniture/components: furniture/components of the same material and the same structure, if large-sized furniture/components are tested to meet a certain level of requirements, furniture/components of other specifications smaller than it can also be considered to meet this level of requirements .

6. Wire and cable: If the cables with the same structure (referring to the same inner and outer sheaths, armor layers, filling materials, and insulating materials are the same), the larger and smaller outer diameter products can meet a certain level of requirements at the same time. The product also meets the requirements of this level.
